Nolan comes to her new position following two years of service as an assistant principal at Woodstock Middle School and seven years as an Assistant Principal at Dean Rusk Middle School. She joined the Cherokee County School District in 2003 as a teacher at Dean Rusk Middle School and previously worked as an elementary and middle school teacher in Louisiana.

Crumbley joins the district after serving as principal of Hickory Flat Elementary School in Henry County for six years. Recipient of a Title I Distinguished School Award, Crumbley’s other past education roles include assistant principal, student support specialist and teacher in Henry County for 14 years, as well as prior teaching experience in Carroll and Hall Counties.

“Both of these educators are proven leaders who we know will succeed in their new roles,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Frank Petruzielo said. “These appointments illustrate why our School District’s leadership is so strong: we train and promote our most talented teachers to become administrators, and we hire the best from other school systems. I know these schools and communities will be delighted with their new principals and will join me in congratulating them."
