Police say the man was wearing dark clothing when he was hit by a vehicle Friday evening near Wade Green Road west of Woodstock.

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the man who was fatally hit while attempting to cross Highway 92 late last week.
At around 9:44 p.m. Friday, March 20, Acworth resident Cesar Munoz Sanchez, 53, stepped into the westbound lane on S.R. 92 near Wade Green Road when he was hit by a Nissan Altima driven by Galyna Losinska of Kennesaw, Trooper Tim Nichols previously told Patch.

Nichols addd that it’s “suspected” the victim was under the influence at the time of the accident, and toxicology results are pending through the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Crime Lab to confirm this detail.
Citing an incident report filed by the agency, Nichols added the driver of the Altima did not see the pedestrian and ”was unable to avoid the collision due to the low light conditions and dark clothing worn by the victim.”
