Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Outlet Mall Jewelry Store
Woodstock police are asking a female customer who witnessed the incident to come forward with any information she can offer.
Detectives with the Woodstock Police Department are investigating a second reported criminal incident the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in just one week.
At around 11 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred 30 minutes prior at Jared Vault at 915 Ridgewalk Parkway.

Employees of the store told officers a ”heavy set,” middle-aged black male wearing khaki pants, a plaid shirt and a caddy-style hat allegedly “walked into the store (and) looked around briefly before brandishing a handgun,” said Woodstock police spokesperson Brittany Duncan.
Jared employees complied with the man’s demands, and he left the store with an undisclosed amount of merchandise, Duncan added.

Investigators are actively following up on leads in the case. Additionally, a female customer was in the store at the time of the incident and witnessed the alleged crime, Duncan stated.
Officers are asking this woman to call Woodstock police using the non-emergency dispatch number at 678-493-4080, as she is wanted for questioning.
