Kid’s POP Club:
This week we invite you to stop by and try some tasty no-sugar Applesauce! Also some dried apple slices! This is one tough event!

River Church Farmers Market, the Farm Bureau and Century House Tavern in Downtown Woodstock are sponsoring a “Power of Produce”club (POP) for children ages 5-12 at the Market every Tuesday from 2-6 pm until November 18. POP program seeks to empower children to make healthy food choices through special programming and events. The goal is to encourage healthier eating habits, open up a dialogue about nutrition, introduce children to various types of produce and ultimately peak their curiosity about where their food and agricultural products come from. Each child who signs up for this free program will receive a “Produce Passport” allowing them to participate in the Market’s weekly activity. Passport will be stamped after each project completion - collect 8 stamps and Century House Tavern in Downtown Woodstock is offering that child a free kids meal.
