Quilters at Friday Night Live in Woodstock Tonight

Members of the East Cobb Quilters’ Guild will be at the Woodstock Pharmacy tonight with ”Autumn Splendor,” their 2015 raffle quilt, in the run-up to Georgia Celebrates Quilts which opens next Thursday at His Hands Church. Georgia Celebrates Quilts is the state’s largest quilt show, with over 350 quilted pieces competing for prize money and the coveted Best of Show Award. Mrs. Sandra Deal, Georgia’s First Lady, will open Georgia Celebrates Quilts on Thursday morning at 10am. The show runs for 3 days, 10am to 6pm daily. Admission is $10. His Hands Church is located at 550 Molly Lane, Woodstock.
