Skimming Device Found on Gas Pump in Woodstock

The employees at the convenience store were able to remove the device before it was used by customers.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help them track down two men in connection to a skimming device that was placed on a gas pump at a convenience store near Woodstock.

The device was discovered at the Chevron station at 6741 Bells Ferry Road, which is at the Victoria Road intersection, the agency said.

Employees at the gas station saw the illegal device, and removed it before it could be used by any customers, the sheriff's office added.

Anyone who recognizes the men as well as the alleged suspects' vehicle is asked call sheriff's office detectives at 770-928-0239.
