Here is why it’s so important to our ministry. It directly affects our military community and the general public with unimaginable daily challenges and daily in our ministry personally.

A few facts.

• 6-10% of our military community has a higher incidence of Alzheimer's than the general public.
• Agent Orange, TBI, PTSD, and other military-related conditions are some of the reasons for the increased rates. Also, 10% of the Cherokee Veterans Community’s members are dealing with Alzheimer’s daily.
• Statistics show there could be a 35% increase in Alzheimer’s in Georgia alone by 2035.

• NO cure is in sight for the unimaginable daily challenges it has for caregivers and patients.
• Cherokee Veterans Community has already donated $5300 to help end Alzheimer’s.
