Woodstock High NJROTC Wins 4th in State Drone Championship

Woodstock High School NJROTC Drone Team, traveled to Fleming Island High School in Florida on March 24, 2024 as they qualified during the season for the State Championship. They competed in Area-7, 8, & 9 Drone competitions. The State Championship consisted of a four member team of Cadets Dillon Chancy, Jonah Kish, Isaiah Zaragoza, led by team captain, Cadet Lucus Navaro, and accompanied by NSI Keith Myrick, Gunnery Sergeant, USMC (ret).

Sixteen drone teams competed against each other in the areas of academics, guided flying, obstacle courses, relay flights, and landing.

Woodstock placed 1st in the NFO Guided Flying Challenge , 2nd in Roater Head Relay Race, and 5th in the Obstacles Course. Overall, the team brought home the 4th place trophy!
