Woodstock Hosts Bring One For The Chipper Event
The city's event will be held at Olde Rope Mill Park.

WOODSTOCK, GA — If you still are at a loss as to how to dispose of your Christmas tree, the city of Woodstock on Saturday will offer a unique way to recycle the tree as part of the state's efforts to bolster the environment.
The city's annual Bring One for the Chipper event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6 at Olde Rope Mill Park.
Sponsored by the city and Keep Georgia Beautiful and the Woodstock Stormwater Department, the event includes free tree seedlings, coffee and donuts as you drop off your trees for recycling. Woodstock's event runs concurrently with its Christmas Tree Chip n Dip initiative, which ends Monday, Jan. 15. Residents can stop by the park from 8 a.m to dusk to dip into the mulch with a shovel for free.
