Woodstock Parks Collecting Food For MUST Summer Lunch Program
Residents can drop off various items used to make lunch meals for less fortunate children at Fire Station 14 and Woodstock Parks' office.

WOODSTOCK, GA -- While many residents use the summer months to take vacations or relax by the pool, there are some citizens who worry about whether their children will have enough food to eat on a daily basis.
With this in mind, one nonprofit organization and the Woodstock Parks and Recreation Department are stepping up to take that burden off the community's less fortunate residents. The agency is conducting a food drive to help MUST Ministries Summer Lunch Program, which provides a nutritious meal to thousands of children in seven counties across metro Atlanta.
From June 5-16, Woodstock Parks and Recreation is accepting the following donations:

- Brown lunch bags
- Ziploc sandwich/snack bags
- Juice boxes
- Salty snacks (individually packaged)
- Peanut butter
- Sweet snacks (individually packaged)
- Fruit cups
- Apples
- Small oranges
- Applesauce
- Granola bars
- Protein bars
- Jelly (grape is best)
- Unopened lunch meat (turkey, ham or bologna)
- Plastic gloves
- Unopened, individually wrapped cheese
- Note: please do not bring bananas
During the June 10 Summer Concert Series event at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Amphitheater, you can also stop by Woodstock Parks or Momentum Church tents to help color or decorate lunch bags for the program.
