Woodstock Resident Joins Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation Board

Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, the state's top organization for providing vision services for children, adults, and seniors who otherwise do not have access to vision care, is pleased to announce board members that have begun service on the Board of Directors effective July 1, 2023. Their fresh viewpoints and knowledge will help advance the organization’s goal of providing clear vision to more Georgians.

Dennis Chapman of Woodstock, GA has been re-elected to the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation Board. Chapman is a native of Atlanta, GA, and for over 13 years member of the Woodstock Lions Club. Currently, he holds the position of District Governor for the NW Georgia District. Chapman has served many positions in his Club, District and International Lions. In addition to his district duties, he is a member of Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation Board of Directors and currently Vice-Chair Multi District 18, Council of Governors. Chapman serves as the 2023 Georgia Lions Peach Bowl Parade Chair

Chapman has received his Bachelors and Masters Certificate from Lions University. He is a graduate of Regional Lions Institute and Advanced Lions Leadership Institute. District Governor Chapman is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow. Chapman is a musician who currently plays with the Southern Winds Concert Band.
