Idaho Falls Regional Airport parking rates rising October 1 (localnews8.com) — If you're flying out of Idaho Falls, be prepared for higher parking costs starting Thursday, October 1, though the first hour in any lot is still free. The airport is adding options like parking along International Way, developing a cell phone waiting lot, and offering only card and mobile payments, with a free shuttle available from the Economy Lot.

GIFT for Ammon: On-demand public transportation expands to Ammon (localnews8.com) — Door-to-door Greater Idaho Falls Transit service now covers all of Idaho Falls and newly expanded areas of Ammon, giving residents easier access to shopping, medical appointments, and daily errands. With low per-ride fares and app or phone booking, city leaders in both communities say the long-planned expansion especially benefits seniors, riders with disabilities, and others who can't easily drive.

Falls Water Lifts Taylor Mountain Boil Advisory Near Idaho Falls, with Steps for Flushing Taps, Ice, and Filters (medicaldaily.com) — If you're on the Taylor Mountain Water System near Idaho Falls, you can safely drink and cook with tap water again after Falls Water lifted the boil advisory on Sept. 30. Officials still urge you to flush cold taps, toss old ice, clean fridge dispensers, and replace filters, especially if you have infants, older adults, or anyone with weakened immunity at home.
