The revived program, backed by local organizations and sponsors, aims to brighten everyday infrastructure, celebrate Idaho Falls' character, and invite residents to explore an open-air gallery while learning about each artist via QR codes.

The GIFT that keeps on giving, the Greater Idaho Falls Transit officially expands into Ammon (eastidahonews.com) — Greater Idaho Falls Transit has officially expanded into Ammon, giving Idaho Falls and Ammon residents new, low-cost ride options between the two cities. The service especially helps seniors, people with disabilities, and those needing rides to medical and treatment appointments in Idaho Falls, with sponsors covering many health-related trips. You can book rides through the GIFT app, website, or phone number.
   

3. 5A District 6 soccer tournaments preview (postregister.com) — District 6 5A soccer tournaments are kicking off in Idaho Falls this week, with local girls and boys teams vying for state berths in a new playoff format. Hillcrest's girls and top-seeded Idaho Falls boys enter as favorites, but several Skyline, Pocatello, and Blackfoot squads are poised to play spoiler in what should be tightly contested, high-stakes matches.
   

4. Rise of Feline Panleukopenia shows up in Southeast Idaho and Western Wyoming (localnews8.com) — Veterinarians and the Idaho Falls Animal Shelter are warning local cat owners about a recent rise in highly contagious feline panleukopenia cases in the Idaho Falls–Alpine area. They urge residents to confirm vaccinations, watch for vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy, and seek immediate vet care since treatment focuses on keeping infected cats alive while their immune systems fight the virus.

Police increasingly turning to K-9s to fight crime and more in Pocatello, Idaho Falls (idahopress.com) — Idaho Falls Police now field one of the region's largest K-9 units, with dogs trained for patrol, explosives, electronics detection, and even officer and community wellness support. Alongside Pocatello's more traditional K-9 team, these dogs help find narcotics, locate evidence, and connect officers with residents through school demos and outreach, strengthening trust and safety across eastern Idaho.
