Downtown Twin Falls Oktoberfest takes over Main Avenue this weekend with vendors, food trucks and music (kivitv.com) — Downtown Twin Falls' Main Avenue will close for Oktoberfest this Friday and Saturday, bringing 40–45 vendors, food trucks, live music, and a lively beer-quaffing tournament to the heart of town. Organizers say the family-friendly festival also gives local shops a crucial economic boost before the slower winter season.
   

2. Hygiene drive aims to help homeless students in Twin Falls (kmvt.com) — Twin Falls residents are being asked to donate hygiene items to support about 400 local students experiencing homelessness through the school district's McKinney Vento program. From now through Nov. 3, you can drop off detergent, toothpaste, shampoo, and other essentials at Westmont Credit Union, AmeriTitle, or the Twin Falls Visitor Center, helping kids stay in school and avoid bullying over appearance.
   

3. Idaho businesses raise $37,000 for charities in rock, paper, scissors tournaments (idahobusinessreview.com) — First Federal Bank's Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament of Champions in downtown Twin Falls helped raise thousands for local nonprofits, including Valley House, Twin Falls Christian Academy, and the Twin Falls Animal Shelter. Sixty-four Idaho businesses competed across Twin Falls and Meridian, with costumes, choreographed entrances, and matched entry fees combining for $37,000 in community support.
   

4. Friday Night Blitz Week Six Spotlight: Gooding travels to Buhl (kmvt.com) — High school football fans in Twin Falls can look forward to tonight's matchup as the Bruins host Mountain Home, one of several key regional games with playoff implications. The spotlight game features Gooding at Buhl, but the schedule also highlights contests involving Jerome, Canyon Ridge, Kimberly, and other Magic Valley programs.
   

5. Tesla Launches Emergency Drive Away for U.S. Superchargers (teslanorth.com) — A deadly August 1 shooting at the In-N-Out and Tesla Supercharger in Twin Falls has prompted Tesla to roll out an Emergency Drive Away feature at U.S. Superchargers. The update lets drivers pull away while still plugged in during life-threatening situations, accepting vehicle and charger damage in exchange for a faster escape.
