Debbie O'Shaughnessy, of Oak Forest, saw this group of snakes in her yard and grabbed a camera to get this photo. She tells us, "there were five of them initially, but by the time I grabbed my phone to get a picture, one of them slithered away. I'm told by some that it was a mom or two with their babies, and someone else said they are mating."

Jim Signorelli captured a beautiful shot of this single tulip against a mid-morning sun at Millennial Park in Chicago. He calls the photograph, "Sun Bathing."
