ILLINOIS — Just in time for Labor Day — a holiday created to celebrate the U.S. labor movement — Indeed has released its list of the highest-rated workplaces in the Chicago area. The job site on Tuesday released its city-by-city breakdown of the best companies to work for in 12 major metro areas, including Chicago.

The reviews are based on more than 70 million ratings and reviews of employers posted on Indeed over the last two years.
