Al Benson submitted this photo he took of Wheaton resident Marilyn Joyner, who is displaying a radish seedling during a seed-planting workshop at Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora. According to Al, Joyner and Fred Greenwood, volunteers with the nonprofit Obama Legacy Initiative, demonstrated planting flower and vegetable seeds in raised-bed garden boxes to help eliminate food deserts and healthcare issues.
