Joe Kloptowsky, of Tinley Park, was vacationing in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife when they visited Magnolia Plantation and saw this historic white bridge, built in 1840.

Kimberley Schumacher saw this young raccoon hiding away in Bull Valley, "watching the world go by from his post." She tells us his eyes said, "you aren’t supposed to see me," as he slowly retreated to the backside of the tree trunk.

Cindy Eisenmann sent in this colorful photograph she took at Tulip Fest on Kuiper's Family Farm in Maple Park.

Michele Pomplun, of Arlington Heights, took this photo from the third floor of her condo. She tells us, "a storm was on its way, and I was absolutely amazed at all the spectacular colors outside."
