2 Men Charged With Retail Theft / DUI, Obstructing Justice Arrests: Algonquin Blotter
A look at Algonquin Police Department reports in recent weeks.

The Algonquin Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:
- Joshua L. Dodd, 33, of Elkhorn, Wis., and Brett J. Norris, 35, of 903 Annabelle in McHenry, were both charged with retail theft. They were taken into custody at 3:21 p.m. on Jan. 24 at 832 S. Randall Road and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- John J. Valdez, 30, of 110 Indian Trail, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving while license suspended. He was taken into custody at Center and LaFox River at 7:06 p.m. on Jan. 24. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Yesinia Ojeda-Sanchez, 35, of 26 Meadowlark Lane in Carpentersville, was charged with retail theft at 10:04 p.m. on Jan.26. She was taken into custody at 1410 S Randall and released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Eric D. Bender, 31, of 3781 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin, was charged with obstructing justice and a FTA warrant out of McHenry County. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department at 1:51 p.m. on Jan. 27 and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- Colleen T. Breslin, 53, of 20 Cedar Grove Court, was charged with DUI, DUI BAC Over .08, Fleeing/Eluding and Unsafe Tires. She was taken into custody in 1100 block of Sawmill at 9:37 p.m. on Jan. 27. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Darrian K. Greene, 23, of 11715 Woodscreek Apt. C in Huntley, was arrested on a FTA warrant out of McHenry County. He was taken into custody at 2601 Bunker Hill Drive at 1:35 p.m. on Jan. 28 and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- Christofer A. Hall, 23, of 7704 Newbold Road in Cary, was charged with driving while license suspended and disregarding a traffic control device. He was taken into custody at Randall and Becky Lynn at 10:22 p.m. on Jan. 28. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Felix Aguilar, of 106 Meadowdale Ct., Carpentersville, was charged with no valid driver’s license, speeding and no insurance. He was taken into custody at 10:50 p.m. on Jan. 29 at Sandbloom and Compton. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
