9 Algonquin Businesses Fined for Selling Alcohol to Minor

ALGONQUIN, IL - A higher number of violations than normal were handed out following recent compliance checks at Algonquin businesses, Algonquin Police Chief John Bucci told the Northwest Herald. In total, nine businesses were cited when the police department sent in underage patrons to see if clerks would sell them alcohol.

The Northwest Herald reports the following businesses recently failed the compliance checks:

• Famous Dave’s, 1521 S. Randall Road
• El Fuego Tacos and Burritos, 132 S. Randall Road
• Mobil Gas, 2390 E. Algonquin Road
• Marathon Gas, 2150 E. Algonquin Road
• BP, 1469 S. Randall Road,
• Walgreens, 1301 E. Algonquin Road
• Armanetti Wine and Liquor, 3989 W. Algonquin Road
• Meijer Gas Station, 490 S. Randall Road
• Chipotle Mexican Grill, 412 S. Randall Road
