Algonquin Dentist Increases Reward for Safe Return of 'Mickey the Molar' Parade Float

The missing float is expected to land in Cincinnati at some point this week.

Mickey the Molar is still on the loose.

The 10-foot-by-10-foot tooth balloon mascot for Dr. Timothy Stirneman’s All Smiles Dental practice ”escaped” during the Founders’ Day festival in Algonquin when it got loose of its tether and floated away.

On July 27, All Smiles received a report that Mickey the Molar was spotted near Valparaiso, Ind., and was headed southeast.

“I’ve calculated his rate of travel so far and determined that if he continues on the same path and speed he is traveling towards Fort Wayne at a speed of about 30 miles per day,” according to a Facebook post on July 28.

As of Sunday, no new reports of Mickey the Molar sightings had been reported, according to the All Smiles Dental Facebook page. But All Smiles Dental figured the balloon float would likely land in Cincinnati at some point this week.
