Algonquin Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft, Domestic Battery Arrests
The Algonquin Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks.

A look at recent arrests made in Algonquin.
- Authorities arrested Chad A. Fensin, 28, of 7345 Archer Ave., Summit, Argo, IL, at 4:04 p.m. on Feb. 13 and charged him with retail theft. He was taken into custody at 750 S Randall and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- Christopher J. Blaesing, 35, of 2830 Beacon Point Circle in Elgin, was arrested at 9:31 p.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with retail theft and driving while license revoked. He was taken into custody at 734 S Randall Road and was released after posting bond with a court date in McHenry County.
- Cortney A. Huston, 26, of 735 N. Vista, was arrested at 9:49 p.m. on Feb. 17 and charged with retail theft and on a warrant out of McHenry County. She was taken into custody at 107 S Randall and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- Keith M. Bertog, 31,of 10824 Cape Cod Lane in Huntley, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. on Feb. 10 and charged with DUI, DUI BAC Over .08 and improper lane usage. He was taken into custody at Algonquin and Boulder and was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Juan F. Munoz, 23, of 1810 Papoose Road in Carpentersville, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. on Feb. 8 for DUI, failure to reduce speed, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident and no driver’s license. He was taken into custody at Route 31 and Route 62 and was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Anthony K. Brown, 52, of Cenanse, IL, was arrested at 5:51 a.m. on Feb. 3 on a warrant out of Will County for a traffic violation.He posted bond and was released with a court date in Will County.
- A 17-year-old from Carpentersville was arrested at 8:14 a.m. on Feb. 3 and charged with no valid driver’s license, too fast for conditions, leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance. She was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department and was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Asya S. Vanburen, 27, of 500 Windmere Way in Lake in the Hills, and Aliyah D. Gray, 21, of 1080 Abbery Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested at 3:13 p.m. on Feb. 3. Both were charged with retail theft after being taken into custody at Bunker Hill and Woodscreek.They were released after posting bond with court dates in McHenry County.
- Jorge Aguilar, 30, of Astoria, NY, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. on Feb. 3 and charged with retail theft and taken into custody at 1812 S. Randall Road. He was transported to the Kane County Jail.
- Fred R. Santoro, 45, of 2634 Pondview in Algonquin, was arrested for domestic battery and transported to the McHenry County Jail.
