Harry D. Jacobs High School Presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Please “Be Our Guest” in the audience for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.  This production is directed by Rob Scharlow, with Musical Director and Producer, Jake Stouffer, Choreography by Kim Scharlow, costumer, Sarah Weinstein, set construction foreman, Bob Stoffel and student stage manager, Rachel Kaplow. With over one hundred talented students as cast, crew and orchestra, this play has something for everyone.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast tells the story of a strong-willed woman named Belle (played by Senior Anna Taylor) and a prince-turned Beast (played by Sophomore Colin Bokowy) as her captor.  A wandering beggar woman casts a dark magical spell on the prince’s castle after he refuses to allow her entrance during a torrential storm, transforming all within to enchanted objects and the prince into a hideous beast.  He must learn to love and be loved in return for the spell to be lifted.  This production is filled with lovable characters, beautiful music and is sure to be an adventure that will delight audiences of all ages.

Bring your family and your friends; with general seating at $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors, you can bring all your neighbors!  This will be a great outing for the whole family!

There will be three performances, February 24th – February 25^th show time 7:00 p.m. and February 26th at 2:00 p.m.
