Huntley Boys Basketball Sophomore B Team Defeated by Cary-Grove
HHS sophomore B boys basketball team loses to Cary-Grove 38-32.
The Red Raider boys sophomore B team lost 38-32 at Cary-Grove on Wednesday night.
The game was close in the first half with the lead going back and forth several times. Cary-Grove led 9-6 at the end of the first period and 21-19 at halftime.
In the second half Cary-Grove jumped out to an early 7 point lead as they scored the first 5 points of the half. They took their biggest lead of 9 points at 30-21 and closed out the third period up 33-27.

The Red Raiders charged back and pulled to within 1 point at 33-32 but could get no closer as the Trojans made their free throws down the stretch to secure the victory.
Kyle Slonka led the Red Raiders with 8 points. Michael Zornow added 6 points and 9 rebounds. Brad Sterk also had 6 points while Kyler Callanan dished out 5 assists.
