Little Brother Zack in Need of Positive Male Role Model
There are currently 37 children right here in McHenry County on our waiting list for a Big Brother or Big Sister, some of whom have been waiting for over a year!
Yesterday was 'Waiting Wednesday' at Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.
Each Wednesday we pick one waiting child, a Little, to profile in hopes to find the him or her the perfect Big Brother or Big Sister. Do you know someone who would make a great Big Brother for Zack?
Zack is an 11-year-old boy living in Johnsburg. He has been raised by his grandmother for the past 9 years and lacks any significant relationship with a male figure. He would benefit greatly having a positive male role model in his life. Zack is a very sweet and outgoing boy. He likes to plant in the garden and would enjoy going for nature hikes. Zack would also like someone who will play video games with him and most importantly have fun!
Zack has been patiently waiting for a Big Brother for over 7 months.
