Little Sister Emma Hopes to Attend Harvard Law

It's Waiting Wednesday! Do you know someone who would make the perfect Big Sister for waiting Little Sister Emma?

Twelve year old Emma from McHenry lives with her grandparents and two younger siblings. Emma’s mother has recently passed away and she has had to grow up fast.

Her grandmother describes her as joyful, caring, and having a BIG heart! She realizes Emma is at a delicate age where she needs guidance in terms of making positive choices in her life that will impact her future.

Emma would like a Big Sister because she would like someone to talk to. With a Big Sister, Emma would like to play football and basketball, go to the movies and the mall.

Emma loves school because she likes to learn new things. She especially loves science!

If Emma could have three wishes, they would be to have a wonderful family of her own when she grows up, attend Harvard Law, and to read people’s minds!

Emma has so much potential and is lucky to have caring granparents, but she lacks another consistent adult role model in her life.
