Why did you decide to Become a Big Brother?

"My wife and I have three grown children; I was looking for a way to give back to our community.

My father has always been one to give back to his community and I wanted to follow his excellent example."

What do you and your like little do together?

"I have a new Little so we are still finding out what makes our relationship tick.  So far we like movies and sports.

We hope to take part in some outside type sports as the weather moves into Spring."

How or has this experience changed your life?

"My first Little Brother and i were matched when he was only 6 years old; today he is a college freshman and the first in his whole family to attend college. I am proud of the fact that I had a part in his growing up into a fine young man."

What kind of changes if any have you seen in your little(s)?

"[Cole] could have taken a very different path left with out a father figure in his life.

It is still too early to tell with my current match."

**Why do you think other men should volunteer to become a Big Brother?

"If someone is even considering this path, then they have some time and interest in giving back to their community.

I believe there is no more affective mentoring program in our country with proven results that keep many boys and girls on positive life paths."

Thank you Bob for all you do!
