So Much Going on at Airport

Spotlight business is Allstate Insurance as well a few updates at the airport.

Hello everyone, sorry for the long gap of no blogs for a bit there. There is so much going on with the pilots' association taking off, my wedding coming up in under three weeks, as well as moving, and so much more.

The Lake in the Hills Airport has been very busy these past few days which is always great. Lately we have had more and more parents coming out and bringing their kids to watch the planes. I really do encourage everyone stop out and relax with us for a bit.

This week, I would like to continue my spot light business section. This week is Bob Gwinn's Allstate Insurance office. Located in the Windsock Executive Building (the green roofed building with the orange windsock), Bob is living his dream. He moved to the location about a year and a half ago after trying locations in Cary. Bob finally realized the best place to be located is the place you love to spend all your time.

Bob being at the Lake in the Hills Airport daily is Bob's paradise. He brings his dogs to work frequently and also can be spotted around Lake in the Hills in his good old Volkswagon Lime Green Bus.

The agency itself is turning five this September. The office specializes in writing Auto, Property, and Financial Services. Bob has over 30 years in the insurance world and the only other guy that works with him is me.

Our office is a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel like you are at home. We have fun but also take our jobs very seriously. We could talk insurance about as much as I could talk about football.

The reason I bring up our office is for two seperate reasons. The first, we love to talk to people. Bob has brought in nice outside chairs and we open our office up to all visitors to come on in if the wind is too much or if you need to use the restroom. The second reason that I wanted to talk about the office is not many people know that non-aviation businesses are located right here. Our building is primarily non-aviation businesses.

I will be taking a few weeks off for the wedding as well as visiting sunny Hawaii. Please email me any questions you have at DWatson@allstate.com or Danwatson84@gmail.com.
