Toastmasters Fall Area 6 Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest
The afternoon began with a inspiring word from our most tenured member.

Toastmasters from Des Plaines, Park Ridge and surrounding neighborhoods participated in the Fall Area 6 Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest on October 1, 2011. Contestants, judges, timers and counters from six local clubs took part.
The afternoon began with a inspiring word from our most tenured member, Dick Storer od Des Plaines who has been a member of Toastmasters for over 50 years. The evaluation contest followed with each participant providing feedback in two to three minutes. The humorous speech contest had the audience rolling in the aisles. Five contestants delivered speeches from five to seven minutes in length.
Myleson Collins won the humorous speech contest and Romeo Gimeno won the evaluation contest. Winners of the contest will compete at the Division contest on October 8, 2011.
