Trojans Defeat Huntley Sophomore Boys
Cary-Grove defeated Huntley 54-46 in boys sophomore basketball on Friday night.
The Huntley sophomore boys finished up their Valley Division play with a 7-5 record after losing on the road, 54-46 to Cary-Grove on Friday.
The Trojans grabbed a 3 point lead in the first quarter at 16-13 and then finished up 9 at halftime as they dropped a jumper at the buzzer for a 29-21 lead.
The Red Raiders closed to within 3 points at the 5 minute mark of the fourth quarter but could not get any closer.

Daniel Janus led Huntley with 17 points and Zach Gorney was also in double figures with 14. Jason Shields had 9 points and 3 assists for the 14-10 Raiders.
