Volunteers, volunteers and more volunteers

We couldn’t have done it without you!

Thanks to the efforts of many who wanted to give to those in need, we were able to distribute bags of toys and clothing, as well as boxes of non-perishable food to 51 families and over 120 children for the holidays this year!

Every night, our temporary warehouse headquarters was busy
with volunteers to help pick, sort, catalog and pack away every single item
received from giving tree donations and family adoptions.

Food donations from “Food for Fines” from the Algonquin Area Public Library had been waiting in a huge pile to be sorted by lots of ambitious young volunteers and distributed into the family boxes.

We are very grateful for everyone who contributed –
individuals, families, friends, neighbors, businesses and organizations.
