You are invited to the “Master the Art of Excellence” at the 2011 Golf & Gala Event June 6

Golf & Gala Event is set for June 6 at the Boulder Ridge Country Club.

The D300 Foundation has organized its annual golf and gala event to celebrate excellence in education by awarding Innovation Grants for educational projects in our schools and by recognizing our district’s Distinguished Educator of the Year.

This event has been an exciting tradition for friends and supporters of the Foundation, and this year will be no exception. Golfers and diners are invited to join us at the beautiful Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills on Monday, June 6.

Registration begins at 10 a.m., lunch will be served, and the outing will begin with a shotgun start at 12 p.m. Golfers will have access to the locker rooms and the reception begins at 5 p.m. This year, we will have some very special raffle and auction items: iPad 2®, Dell Inspirion Convertible Tablet Duo, a Derrick Rose signed MVP jersey, a Patrick Kane signed jersey, a Ron Santo signed Chicago Cubs jersey, a Jay Cutler signed Chicago Bears helmet and a Paul Konerko signed 2005 World Series Baseball, to name a few.

The D300 Foundation’s mission is to enhance and extend learning opportunities in all D300 schools. Since the D300 Foundation was founded in 2002, it has awarded nearly a half a million dollars in local education grants – all made possible by private donations and special fundraisers.
