Carpentersville Man Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison for 9th DUI
Alfredo Sanchez has been arrested for nine DUIs over the past 16 years.

A 32-year-old Carpentersville man will spend 12 years in prison for his ninth DUI.
Alfredo Sanchez was on parole for his eighth DUI when officers found him sitting in his car on the shoulder of the road near Higgins Road and Mall Drive in Schaumburg on Sept. 23, the Daily Herald reports. When officers asked for his driver’s license, Sanchez sped off and was clocked going 65 mph. He was located, and arrested, a short time later.
Prior to his most recent DUI arrest, Sanchez served two stints in prison for prior DUIs. His drunken driving charges date back to 2000 when he was arrested for misdemeanor DUI and was again arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge in 2002. He was charged with his first felony on his third DUI in Kane County in 2004. And while that case was still pending, he was arrested for his fourth and fifth DUIs in Kane County and his sixth DUI in Cook County.
