Dogs, Puppies Available at Petco Adoption Event in Algonquin

There will be over 200 dogs and puppies available at a Petco Mega Adoption event in Algonquin this weekend, according to the Tails Humane Society website.

The adoption event will be held at Elmhurst and Algonquin Petco stores on May 11 and 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the Tails Humane Society website. 

Adoption fees will be $200 for puppies — plus a $75 obedience training deposit — and $75 for adult dogs six months old and older, according to Tails Humane Society. 

All dogs and puppies will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, de-wormed, flea/tick treated, micro-chipped and each adoption will include one month of free pet health insurance. Adult dogs will be heartworm tested.
