Driver Killed, Two Former Bears Players Injured in Barrington Hills Crash

The crash happened Monday night.

A 35-year-old Barrington Hills man died after crashing his car into a tree and then into a ditch in Barrington Hills Monday night and his two passengers, both former Bears players, were injured in the crash Monday night in Barrington Hills, the Daily Herald reports.

Salvatore DiMucci died at a local hospital following the crash, which happened on Goose Lake Drive west of Brinker Road in Barrington Hills at about 9:45 p.m., according to the article.

The passengers in DiMucci's car have been identified as Caleb Hanie, 30, a former Bears backup quarterback, and 30-year-old Joseph LaRocque, a former linebacker for the Bears, according to the Chicago Tribune. Hanie and LaRocque were taken to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington with non-life-threatening injuries.
