Girl, 16, Charged With Domestic Battery; DUI Arrests: Blotter
A look at recent arrests made by the Algonquin Police Department.

The Algonquin Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:
- Nicholas A. Soto, 32, of 688 Devonshire Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested at 12:37 p.m. on Dec. 2. He turned himself in at the Algonquin Police Department on a warrant from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office for theft. He posted bond and was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Kaylie S. McCluskey, 21, of 60 Berkshire Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested at 3:40 p.m. on Dec. 2. She was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the McHenry County Jail to await bond court.
- Russell E. Ruszkowski, 45, of 3908 Tamarisk Trail in Crystal Lake, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. on Dec. 3 at Algonquin and Harrison. He was charged with DUI, DUI BAC Over .08, and disobeying a traffic control device. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- A 17-year-old lake in the Hills girl was charged with retail theft at 12:26 p.m. on Dec. 3. She was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department. She was referred to Tri-City Peer Jury.
- Darrian K. Greene, 22, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. on Dec. 3 at 400 S. Randall Road and charged with retail theft. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
- A 17-year-old Algonquin girl was arrested at 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 3 and charged with domestic battery. She was referred to McHenry County Court Services.
- Jorge L. Rosales-Guevara, 34, of 154 Pecos Circle in Carpentersville, was arrested at Sandbloom and Compton at 3:28 a.m. on Dec. 4. Rosales-Guevara was charged with DUI, illegal lane use, and driving while license suspended. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
- Edward S. Kowalski, 51, of 218 Wander Way in Lake in the Hills, was taken into custody at Algonquin Road and Harvest Gate at 5:28 a.m. on Dec. 5. He was charged with DWLS and no insurance. He was released with a court date in McHenry
