Lake in the Hills to Host First-Ever Great Pumpkin Roll
The event will be held this Saturday at Butch Hagele Beach.
The village of Lake in the Hills will host its first ever Great Pumpkin Roll this Saturday.
Bring your pumpkin to Butch Hagele Beach, 71 Hilltop Drive in Lake in the Hills, to see how far it will roll or if it will smash. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. You can roll your pumpkin for free or you can enter the contest to win a special prize for landing on the ”Lucky Pumpkin Spot,” according to a village of Lake in the Hills press release.

The cost is $5 for ages 15 and up, $4 for ages six to 14 years old and $2 for ages 5 years old and younger. The fee includes one pumpkin and one entry into the raffle.
Pre-registration is preferred, 847-960-7460, but not required.
