Man Killed During Robbery at Carpentersville Computer Store

CARPENTERSVILLE, IL - A man is dead after he was shot during a robbery at a computer store in Carpentersville Wednesday night.

Thieves broke into the computer store located on the 1600 block of Ravine Lane around 7:30 p.m., according to the Daily Herald. As they were leaving the store, shots were fired, and one man was hit. That man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

It’s unclear at this point who fired the shots, according to the article.
