The National Weather Service said minor flooding is possible on the Fox River at the Algonquin Tailwater.
Minor flooding is possible for the Fox River in Algonquin, according to the National Weather Service. Due to the heavy rainfall, the Fox River at the Algonquin Tailwater could raise above the flood stage, which is 9.5 feet. As of 8 p.m., the water was at 8.1 feet, according to weather officials.
