One Injured in Algonquin Townhome Fire
The blaze occurred Wednesday night at a mult-unit townhome.

One person was injured in a townhome fire Wednesday night in Algonquin, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at 951 Interloch Court at 8:20 p.m. When they arrived, they found smoke showing from the inside of a town home, according to an Algonquin-LITH Fire Protection District press release. Fire crews entered the home to search for occupants and extinguish the blaze.
One patient was transported to Sherman Hospital. A damage estimate is currently not available and the blaze remains under investigation.

Firefighters from Carpentersville, Crystal Lake, Fox River Grove, Huntley and Cary assisted with the blaze.
