• 5 Vehicles Involved In Serious Route 31 Crash In Algonquin: Police (patch.com) — A serious five-vehicle crash on Route 31 near the Route 62 bridge in Algonquin left a 62-year-old Lake in the Hills man with significant but non-life-threatening injuries and another driver with minor injuries. Northbound Route 31 was closed for about two hours Sunday as Algonquin police investigated, and authorities are asking any additional witnesses from the Algonquin area to contact the department.
