Driver Faces Aggravated DUI Charge in Crash That Killed Female Passenger
Ryan Heineman is accused of driving drunk in the Spring Grove crash that killed Tanya M. McDonough.

SPRING GROVE, IL - A 33-year-old Spring-Grove area man faces an aggravated DUI charge following a single-vehicle crash that killed a female passenger in his vehicle, the Daily Herald reports.
Ryan Heineman will be taken into custody after he is released from an area hospital where he’s been treated for non-life-threatening injuries following the crash, which occurred early Sunday in Spring Grove according to the article.
Tanya M. McDonough of unincorporated Spring Grove was found by a passerby around 6 a.m. Sunday after the crash that occurred on Route 12 east of Sunset Road in Spring Grove earlier that morning, according to a McHenry County Coroner’s Office press release. Spring Grove paramedics responded and pronounced McDonough dead at the scene.

An autopsy on Monday revealed she died from multiple injuries head, chest, and abdomen.
The crash remains under investigation.
