McHenry Home Uninhabitable Following Sunday Night Fire
The blaze caused $7,000 in damage to a home in the 3700 block of West James Street in McHenry

MCHENRY, IL --- No one was injured in a house fire in McHenry Sunday night. Fire officials are investigating what caused the blaze at a home in the 3700 block of West James Street in McHenry, according to a news release.
McHenry Township Fire Protection District crews first on scene found a fire coming from an east wall of the residence. The blaze was primarily on the outside but had burned its way into the interior wall of the residence. The fire was fully extinguished in approximately ten minutes, fire officials said.
Damage to the structure and its contents is estimated at $7,000. The structure is currently uninhabitable.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated by McHenry Township Fire Protection District fire investigators.
