Aggravated Assault of Officer, Criminal Trespassing, Retail Theft: Blotter
A look at recent arrest reports in Crystal Lake.

Here is a look at recent arrests made by the Crystal Lake Police Department:
- Jose Manuel Esquivel-Ortiz, 26, of 307 North Hayes in Harvard, was arrested on Oct. 20 for driving on a revoked license. His bond was set at $1,500.
- Lara Ramon, 51, of 2024 W.Jacmes in Chicago, was arrested on Nov. 1 for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Her bond was set at $1,500.
- William Tyson Lestritz, 42, of 14411 Kishwaukee Road in Woodstock, was arrested on Nov. 1 for aggravated assault of a peace officer and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $1,500.
- Juan Garcia, 20, of 4813 State Street was arrested on Nov. 1 for driver’s license expired more than six months. His bond was set at $1,500. A Dec. 6 court date has been set in the case.
- Karl Leonard Keller, 51, of 704 ½ W. Brown in Harvard, was arrested on Nov. 4 for retail theft.
- Edward A. Bobikewicz, 32, of 649 Nottingham Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Nov. 4 for retail theft.
- Dale Pickens Craft, 30, of 3207 Miller Drive in McHenry, was arrested on Nov. 5 for retail theft.
- Damian Niwelt, 26, of 632 Joseph Street in Lake in the Hills, was arrested on Nov. 5 for criminal trespassing/remain on land and an in-state bond forfeiture warrant. The warrant stems from his failure to appear on DUI/Drug charges in Kane County. Bond was set at $5,075 and $1,500.
- Nelson Omar Martinez Espinal, 31, of 6117 S. Kilpatrick Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on Nov. 5 for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
