Teen Charged With Assault / Drug Charges / Jacobs High School Arrest: Algonquin Blotter

A look at arrests made in recent weeks.

A look at recent arrest reports in Algonquin:

  • John P. McMahon, 55, of 6223 Providence Court in Carpentersville, was arrested on March 2 and Randall and Harnish. He was charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance and expired registration. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
  • Jesus A. Garcia, 19, of 1859 Cambridge Drive in Carpentersville, was arrested at Route 62 and Route 25 at 4:54 a.m. on March 3. He has been charged with delivery of marijuana 30 grams and under and possession of marijuana less than 30 grams. He was released with a court date in McHenry County.
  • Serfina Jeronimo, 38, of 147 Hazard in Carpentersville, was arrested at 5:49 p.m. on March 4 and charged with no valid driver's license. She was taken into custody at Route 62 and Route 31. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.
  • A 14-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested at 540 Longwood at 6:49 p.m. on March 5. He was charged with assault. He was referred to peer jury and released to his parents.
  • A 16-year-old Carpentersville boy was arrested at 2:06 p.m. on March 6 at Jacobs High School. He was charged with disorderly conduct. He was referred to McHenry County Court Services and released to his mother.
  • Santa E. Diaz, 32, of 221 Uteg St. in Crystal Lake, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on March 6 on a warrant out of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.
  • Mitchell M. Tyton, 24, of 148 Arthur Ave. in South Elgin, was arrested at Randall and Harnish at 4:26 a.m. on March 8. He has been charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. He was released with a court date in McHenry county.
  • Tammy Baker, 47, of 1330 Greenridge, was arrested for domestic battery at 5:55 a.m. on March 8. She was taken to Kane County to await bond court.
  • Kimberly Perkins, 55, of 2241 Litchfield Lane in Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 3:18 p.m. on March 9 at 103 S. Randall Road. She was charged with retail theft. She was released with a court date in McHenry County.
  • Kelsey Walenga, 23, of 11 Oxford Court, was arrested at 3:18 p.m. on March 10 for domestic battery and taken to the McHenry County Jail.
