Commemorative Brick Sales For Apollo Park Reconstruction End Soon

Sale of commemorative bricks for Apollo Park restoration end April 1. Honor a loved one, veteran or advertise your business.

ALSIP, IL -- Good things are happening at Alsip's Apollo Park. The Alsip Park District has created a commemorative brick program with sales going toward much needed repairs at Apollo Park. The deadline to purchase bricks is April 1.

This spring, the park will be receiving new rocket-themed play equipment. The driveways entering the recreation center will also undergo some much-needed work. And, the park district will be creating a new seating area between the electronic marquee and the flagpole.

To complement new seating area, park district has created a brick program. Purchase a brick to help support the renovation of Apollo Park. Have your name, family's name or promote your business, memorialize a loved one or honor a soldier or service person. It's a great way for Alsipians to show their community support. The brick donations will become permanent part of the Alsip Park District's Apollo Park renovation. Three sizes are being offered:
