• Man convicted of murder in Antioch shooting (shawlocal.com) — A man has been convicted of first-degree murder for a 2022 fatal shooting inside an Antioch residence, where police found the victim shot in a bathtub. Jurors rejected his self-defense claim after hearing testimony from more than 30 witnesses and reviewing forensic evidence. He now faces 45 years to life in prison, while a codefendant awaits sentencing for armed robbery.
