The Village of Antioch has partnered with the Raymond Chevrolet Kia and 95 WIIL Rock radio to announce the Summer 2026 “It’s Thursday” Concert Series kickoff concert featuring Grammy nominated Everclear&nbsp;on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the William E. Brook Entertainment Center (Antioch Bandshell), 900 Skidmore Drive, Antioch, IL 60002.All It’s Thursday concerts, including the Everclear kickoff concert, are free, open to all ages, and held rain or shine. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for the Everclear show, with music starting at 6:00 p.m. An opening band will be announced at a later date. The rest of the summer concerts start at 7 p.m.Everclear, one of the leading alternative rock bands to emerge from the ‘90s, celebrated their 30th Anniversary in recent years, and founder, vocalist and guitarist Art Alexakis has made it clear that he has no plans to slow down. Since forming in 1992, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career by any measure, spanning 11 studio releases, including four that have been certified Gold or Platinum, selling over 6 million records, and achieving 12 Top 40 Hit Singles on Mainstream Rock, Alternative, and Adult Top 40 radio, including “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You A New Life,” “Wonderful” and “Everything To Everyone,” as well as numerous videos, thousands of shows, and various other accolades, including a 1998 Grammy nomination.“Our ‘It’s Thursday’ summer concert series is a celebration of the Village of Antioch and a great way to support our local restaurants and businesses,” said Mayor Scott J.
