Aggravated DUI Among Charges For Mount Prospect Man: Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Xavier J. Maliakal, 63, of the 600 block of N Windsor, Mount Prospect, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked/suspended license more than two times, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Sept. 25 at Northwest Highway and Race Avenue. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of Oct. 16.

  • Ihor Korytnyk, 23, of the 200 block of Lafayette Street, Wood Dale, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 2:48 a.m. Sept. 27 at Alogonquin and Golf roads. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of Oct. 29.
  • Ewa A. Wisniewska, 44, of the 2100 block of N Abbeywood Court, Palatine, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 12:41 a.m. Sept. 27 at Northwest Highway and Wilke Road. Wisniewska was released on bond and assigned a court date of Nov. 13.

BURGLARY

David Galkowski, 32, of the 3700 block of N Octavia, Chicago, is accused of burglary, possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested at 11:22 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 0-100 block of W Northwest Highway. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of Oct. 27.

THEFT

Michael W. Hrametz, 18, of the 400 block of W Clarendon Street, Prospect Heights, is accused of theft, and was arrested at 4:48 p.m. Sept. 30 in the 1800 block of N Dale. He was released on bond and Oct. 29.
