Stolen table saw from victim's front yard

According to police, a man stole an unattended table saw from the front yard of the victim’s property. The suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 40-years-old, short and slim build with dark hair and wearing jeans and a dark jacket. He was last seen by the victim leaving the area in a small silver SUV with an unknown license plate. The saw is valued at approximately $500. Police say the crime took place along the 100 block of S. Ridge Avenue on Dec. 22 at 1 p.m.

Wallet taken from victim's purse

Police say the suspect stole the victim’s wallet from her purse while she was dining at a restaurant. The wallet contained various credit and identification cards and approximately $60. The credit cards were later used fraudulently, police said. The theft took place at 798 W. Algonquin Rd. (Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant) on Dec. 21 between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Package taken from apartment complex

According to police, a suspect stole a package belonging to a victim from a public package delivery area in an apartment complex. The contents of the package are valued at approximately $49.53. The incident took place along the 4200 block N Bloomington Ave. on Dec. 14 at 4:30 p.m.

Victim's home egged

On Dec. 23 shortly before 1:30 a.m., police say someone damaged the exterior of a victim’s home by throwing eggs at the siding. It does not appear the eggs caused any permanent damage, police noted. The incident occurred along the 900 block N Walnut Avenue.

Victim's car scratched

According to police, someone damaged a victim’s vehicle in the form of scratches to the key hole on the driver’s door. The cost to repair the damage is unknown. The incident reportedly took place along the 400 block E. Seegers Rd. on Dec. 17 between 3 p.m. and 10:44 a.m.
